People think the library is a very quiet, uneventful place, when in reality, nothing could be farther from the truth.

Maxfield Parrish in My Backyard
I wanted to add a picture of a purple coneflower to my earlier post about gardening, but didn't figure out how until after I had already put the post on my blog. The pincushion part of the flower is so amazing - even under less than stellar lighting conditions, it looks luminescent.
Fritzi your passion shines through in every picture. And Maxfield Parrish is one of my favorite painters. I have a copy of "Daybreak" at my desk. You rock girlfriend!
Having worked almost half of my life @ HCL, I continue to be amazed at the new things I'm exposed to and grateful for the opportunity to stay so current in a rapidly changing technological world!

I do love Maxfield Parrish! What a wonderful way to draw in the beauty of nature with traditional fine arts and photography. Brava!
